Making the journey west to Port Andratx from the Palma International Airport is very straightforward. Possibly the most convenient option is the door to door service offered numerous taxis waiting outside of the arrivals hall. The cost is around 60€ for the journey for up to four persons and luggage.
One can also pre-arrange for the collection of a hire car from one of the numerous agencies based at the airport. Driving to Port Andratx s entirely stressless for most drivers, once you have remembered which side of the road on which to drive. Leaving the airport you automatically join the PM-19 motorway heading west towards Palma.
This becomes the PM-20 as it arcs around the northern residential and commercial suburbs of the city. Without any deviation the route straight ahead continues west along the PM-1 until it becomes the C-719 Carretera de Palma-Andratx, which after by-passing the town of Andratx takes you into the centre of the resort. The trip takes between 45 to 50 minutes, but can vary, depending upon the time of day and traffic.
Bypassing Andrtax town the road to the Port is just under 4 kilometers. Just BEFORE (50 mts.) the first roundabout in the Port is a fairly concealed entrance to the public ca park on the right.
Once found this car park is excellent for our visitors. It's very close, there are most often ample spaces and, best of all, it is absolutely free and unrestricted in hours of use.
Upon arrival in the care park we suggest one person takes the short walk of around 5o meters to the Restaurant Samoa where you will be met and recive the kets to your property. It is important not to leave luggage in your vehicle unattended especially in the touristic months of high summer.
